Da habe ich mir gerade meine Version von TOR upgedated und etwas damit herumgespielt, als ich mehr zufällig auf den HTML-Quellcode einer Fehlerseite gestossen bin. Da TOR ein SOCKS-Proxy und kein HTTP-Proxy ist, haben die Programmierer für die unaufmerksamen Handbuch-Leser eine Fehlermeldung gebaut. Damit diese auch problemlos im Internet Explorer angezeigt werden kann, mussten die Autoren von TOR die Fehlermeldung etwas aufblasen:
